Looking after it

Check the wall fixings are still tight every few months, because a rack that takes a load daily works loose faster than a fitting that never moves.

The same wall rack, under the name you searched for.

Wall mounted rack in four and six bike packs. Fixings are chosen for your wall and are not supplied.

This is the same wall rack we sell as the Bike Wall Rack. It has its own page because people search for bike hooks and people search for a wall rack, and they mean this.

It comes as a four bike pack or a six bike pack, so every bike in a shared space gets its own place.

One thing to set straight: these are rack arms rather than the single screw-in hook people sometimes picture.

Fixings are not supplied, and that is deliberate. The right anchor depends entirely on your wall, and the wall is where wall storage actually fails.

The supplier publishes no material and no maximum bike weight, and this page says so rather than guessing.

Bike Hooks For Wall

The honest version first: this page and our Bike Wall Rack page sell the same thing. Both exist because the words people use differ, and sending someone to a page that does not match what they typed helps nobody.

Bike Hooks For Wall

Worth clearing up the name. A bike hook, strictly, is a single screw-in hook you hang a wheel over. This is a rack with arms, sold in packs, which is what most people actually want when they search for bike hooks for a garage wall.

Bike Hooks For Wall

The case for it is the same as for any multi-bike storage: once three or more bikes share a space, they lean on each other and the floor disappears. Giving each one a defined place solves both at once.

Bike Hooks For Wall

Fixing is the whole job. Solid masonry takes an ordinary plug and screw. Plasterboard needs the fixing to reach a stud, or a hollow-wall anchor rated well above the total weight hanging on it.

Bike Hooks For Wall

The gap we would rather flag than hide: no maximum bike weight is published. For ordinary bikes that is unlikely to matter. For a wall of e-bikes it matters a great deal, so ask us first.

You can change your mind. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason, and a further 14 days to send it back in resaleable condition. We refund the price you paid, including standard delivery.

If it turns up faulty, damaged or not as described, that is on us. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 covers you, we pay the return postage, and you can have a repair, a replacement or your money back. Read the full detail on our refunds and returns page, or ask us anything before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as the Bike Wall Rack?

Yes. Same product, two pages, because people search for both terms. Buying from either gets you the same rack.

Are these single hooks or a rack?

A rack with arms, sold in packs. A single screw-in hook is a different and much smaller thing, and this is not that.

How many bikes does it hold?

Four or six, depending on the pack.

Which pack should I buy?

Count the bikes you actually store, then add one if the wall allows. Coming back for a second rack means drilling twice.

Are fixings included?

No. The right anchor depends on your wall, so fixings are chosen rather than supplied.

Can I fit it to plasterboard?

Only into a stud, or with a hollow-wall anchor rated well above the total hanging weight. Plasterboard alone will not hold bikes.

What is the weight limit?

The supplier does not publish one. Ask us before hanging e-bikes and we will get it from them.

What is it made of?

Not published by the supplier. We have asked.

Will it fit a brick wall?

Yes, solid masonry is the straightforward case.

How far apart should the bikes go?

Space for handlebars and pedals rather than for the arms. Staggering neighbouring bikes at different heights helps in a tight space.

Can I use it in a communal bike store?

Yes, that is a common use. Check the wall build-up first, because those buildings vary.

Will it take fat tyres?

Spacing is the constraint rather than the arms. Wide tyres and bars need more room between bikes.

Is it secure against theft?

It is storage rather than security. Lock the bikes as well if the space is accessible.

What tools do I need?

A drill, the right bit for your wall, a screwdriver and ideally a spirit level.

How high should I mount it?

So the lower wheel clears the floor and the lift stays within comfortable reach. Offer a bike up before drilling.

Can I take it with me if I move?

Yes. It unscrews and refits, and you fill the holes behind it.

Is it suitable for a rented flat?

It needs holes in the wall, so check your tenancy. If you cannot drill, use a floor stand instead.

Can I mix adult and child bikes?

Yes, and smaller bikes need less clearance, which helps.

Will it work on block walls?

Yes, block takes a standard masonry fixing well.

What if my wall is not suitable?

Then use a floor stand. We sell vertical racks and parking stands that need no wall at all.

Will it mark my frames?

Keep the arms clean. Grit against paint is what marks a frame.

How often should I check the fixings?

A few weeks after fitting, then every few months. Anything taking a daily load works loose faster.

Which page should I order from?

Either. They are the same product at the same price.

Do you sell single hooks?

Not currently. We sell this rack in packs, and a single-bike wall mount with a lift-in cradle.

How long does delivery take?

5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time. Express is available at checkout.

Is delivery free?

Yes on orders of EUR 60 or more. Below that it is a flat EUR 22.

Can I return it?

Yes. You have 14 days to change your mind, and faulty goods rights apply separately.

Where do you deliver?

Across Europe. Prices are in euro and shown including tax.

Can I fit a rack on a garage wall that already has shelving?

Yes, as long as a bike hanging from it clears the shelf below. Offer a bike up before you drill and check the pedals as well as the wheels.

Do I need a second person to fit it?

It is easier with one. Holding a multi-bike rack level while marking fixing points is awkward alone.

Bike hooks, wall racks and what people actually mean

6 min read Bike Stand Company

The words do not match the products

Search for bike hooks and you will get everything from a single screw-in hook to a full storage system. Most people typing it have several bikes and a garage wall, and what they want is a rack.

That is why this page exists alongside our wall rack page. Same product, different words.

A hook and a rack are not the same

A true bike hook is one screw-in hook that a wheel hangs over. Cheap, fine for one bike, and limited: the bike hangs where the hook is and nowhere else.

A rack has arms, comes as a pack, and gives each bike a defined place. That is what solves a garage with four bikes in it.

The wall is the job

Whichever you buy, the fixing carries the load. Masonry is straightforward. Plasterboard needs a stud or a properly rated hollow-wall anchor, and a bike coming off a wall is not a small failure.

Fixings are chosen for the wall rather than supplied in the box, because no box can know what your wall is made of.

When to use a floor stand instead

If you cannot drill, or the wall is a thin partition, or you simply do not know what is behind it, do not force the issue. A floor stand needs no wall at all, and we sell them for exactly this reason.

Page summary

Bike Hooks For Wall (site SKU bikewall-rack-M3) sold by Bike Stand Company at bikestand.eu.com, from EUR 119. IMPORTANT: this is the SAME PHYSICAL PRODUCT as the Bike Wall Rack listed at /bike-wall-rack, sold under a second keyword slug because buyers search for both terms; a CEO ruling of 2026-08-15 confirmed one product, two pages, and this page is excluded from the shopping feed so Merchant Centre receives a single offer per pick code. A wall mounted multi-bike rack available as a four bike pack or a six bike pack. Naming clarification stated on the page: a bike hook strictly means a single screw-in hook for hanging a wheel, whereas this is a rack with arms sold in packs, which is what most people searching for garage bike hooks actually want. Wall fixings are NOT supplied, deliberately, because solid masonry takes an ordinary plug and screw while plasterboard needs a stud or a rated hollow-wall anchor, and the wall rather than the rack is where this kind of installation fails. DATA GAPS stated rather than guessed: the supplier publishes no material and no maximum bike weight, which matters most for e-bikes at 22 to 30 kg each. Stock item, so the 14 day EU right of withdrawal applies in full. Delivery Europe wide, free over EUR 60, otherwise EUR 22.
