Shipping & returns
Tracked delivery anywhere in Europe. It is free on orders of €60 or more, and a flat €22 below that. Allow 5 to 7 days, after a 24 to 48 hour handling time.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason, and a further 14 days to send it back in resaleable condition. We refund the price you paid, including standard delivery. You cover the cost of returning it unless the item is faulty.
If it arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we put it right at no cost to you under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and the EU Sale of Goods Directive 2019/771, return postage included.
Wipe grit out of the cradle so it does not sit against a rim or a tyre wall. Check any bolted joint is still tight a few weeks after assembly, as with anything that takes a load.

About this product
Stand a bike on its back wheel and get the floor back.
Holds the bike upright in roughly the footprint of its rear wheel. Nothing fixed to the wall.
A bike parked flat takes the space you walk through, not just the space it stands in.
Standing it on the rear wheel changes that: the footprint drops to roughly the wheel itself.
Nothing here goes into a wall, which is the deciding factor in a rented flat or on a wall you would rather not drill.
It moves. Reposition it when the room changes, and take it with you when you leave.
The supplier publishes no material, weight limit or dimensions for this stand, and this page says so rather than guessing.
Vertical storage is the most space-efficient way to keep a bike without touching a wall. The bike stands on its rear wheel, and the floor it occupies is close to the wheel's own footprint.
That is why it suits a hallway. A bike parked horizontally is nearly two metres long and blocks a walkway; stood upright it becomes something you pass rather than step around.
Against a wall rack, the trade is straightforward. A wall rack gives back more floor and needs a wall you can drill. This gives back a good deal of floor and needs no permission from anyone.
The practical checks are tyre width and bike weight, since a cradle sized for a road tyre will not take a fat tyre and a 25 kg e-bike is a different load from a 9 kg road bike.
Which is exactly where this listing falls short, and we would rather say so: the supplier publishes neither figure. If your bike is heavy or your tyres are wide, ask us before ordering and we will get the numbers.
Independent customer feedback
What do our customers say?
Company-wide reviews published on Trustpilot. Every public rating is included.
Ordered a floor standing bike stand in the UK. Sadly it wasn’t that helpful to park the rear tire as the mudguard just got in the way. Tried to leave a review on their website which said that you had to be a customer to log in - but there was no way to do this. Even the chatbot said the same and suggested that I contact the company directly. So maybe the reviews you can read on their website might well be bogus. And their Trust Pilot rating doesn’t match what is on Trust Pilot!
I’m based in the uk and bought it for my daughter in New Zealand. It was easy to order and buy and I was kept upto date by email. I forwarded the tracking details to her and it arrived on time and she’s very pleased with it.
I bought a storage tent online and the process was swift and smooth, no issues at all. The tent also arrived 4 days earlier then the expected date, so it was a great surprise! Highly recommend and will shop with them again soon. 😊
From the start, the “tracking” they provided was useless. It wasn’t a normal carrier number (like FedEx, UPS, or USPS) you can click or paste into a browser. When I reached out, they responded with a generic “it’s accessible in our system” message and didn’t actually provide visibility or help.
It was supposed to arrive on Saturday. It finally arrived on Wednesday, but a part was missing, and support was unresponsive again. I figured it out myself, but that’s not the point... product support should exist for a reason.
All in all, the product eventually showed up, but the lack of transparency and basic support made it a frustrating experience. I wouldn’t order from them again.
Purchased two Bike Floor Parking Stands 14 Oct 2024. Stands are not suitable for bicycles with rear mud guards. Also heavy eBikes just push the stand along the floor even on rough flooring. Requested a refund and was advised had to return the stands to Thailand. Got quotes to send back and almost cost as much as the Stands. The website is deceiving as it implies it is an Australian Site and there is also an Australian administration administration address. Also there is only a 15 day refund policy, which does not comply with Australian Consumer Law. I found an almost identical item on another website for approximately $90 per unit less. I should have known better. Will not be ripped off again.
This upright stand is a solution I couldn't find anywhere else - it stands alone as an innovative way to store your bike taking up the least room
Andrew
Not an Irish Company which I assumed when I went onto the website and saw an Irish Flag beside the name. Product was shipped from Thailand and was caught at customs to pay taxes (albeit a small amount), which DHL didn't chase when delivering. The bike tent is like any other tent advertised elsewhere on Asian website at half the price. As I was trying to shop local (online) I won't be using this company again.
The bike stand is robust, easily adjustable to any position. It can even be bolted to the floor if space is available. All in all it makes cleaning and maintenance so much easier.
Scam!!! They fooled me good. I paid 130euro for a bike trainer that they themselves bought off amazon for 50euro. They aren't answering any customer service emails. They don't list the real name of the products so you can't Google them to compare prices. Scam. Don't be like me, don't be fooled.
Prompt delivery and fair price for product.
Needed assembly but simple tools needed were with the product.
Bike Stand worked well in horizontal bike storing position but I was disappointed with vertical storage position option. Bike was heavy to position vertically and the support arm provided for the upper front wheel position was difficult to engage with front bike wheel and too fragile a support.
Wish I had seen the review from Annette below prior to ordering. Experienced the same issue. The website is posing as an Irish company, the product received was not as advertised and was of much less quality than the product shown in the advertisement. I should have known better, avoid at all costs!
This company advertises products that they do not actually sell. When you order, they deliver a similar product to the one advertised on their website, but it is of lesser quality and may have a defect. This is a typical Asian selling practice that is spreading through Europe. They put a great picture but sell a total crap. The item is often worth a fraction of the price they charge. If you decide to return the product, they will deduct a fee from your refund, and you have to pay the return postage. Despite having an Irish address, they are not an Irish company, and the return will be to the UK or Thailand. It appears that they are not only selling fake products, but also pretending to be an authentic Irish company. PayPal's Buyer Protection does not provide helpful assistance in such cases. I've learned my lesson, so I advise you to avoid this company at all costs. Be sure to research the product that is on the web before considering buying it from this company.
You can change your mind. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason, and a further 14 days to send it back in resaleable condition. We refund the price you paid, including standard delivery.
If it turns up faulty, damaged or not as described, that is on us. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 covers you, we pay the return postage, and you can have a repair, a replacement or your money back. Read the full detail on our refunds and returns page, or ask us anything before you order.
The bike stands on its rear wheel, so the footprint is roughly the wheel itself rather than the two metres a bike takes lying flat.
Do I need to drill anything?
No. Nothing is fixed to the wall or the floor, which is the main reason people choose it.
Will it work in a rented flat?
Yes, and that is the usual case for it. No holes, no permission needed.
Is it stable?
It holds the bike upright on the rear wheel. Put it on a level surface, and keep it out of a doorway where it will get knocked.
Can I move it?
Yes, easily. That is the advantage over a wall rack.
Will it fit a mountain bike?
Tyre width is the question, and the supplier does not publish a range. Tell us your tyre size and we will check.
Will it take an e-bike?
Ask us first. No weight limit is published and an e-bike can be 22 to 30 kg.
How does it compare to a wall rack?
A wall rack gives back more floor but needs a drillable wall. This gives back a lot of floor and needs nothing.
Does it hold the bike by the frame?
It stands the bike on its rear wheel rather than gripping the frame.
Can I store two bikes on it?
It is a single bike stand. For several bikes together, a wall rack in a four or six pack is the better answer.
Will it damage my wheel?
Keep the cradle clean. Grit against a rim is what causes marks, on any stand.
Does it need assembly?
Some assembly is normal for a stand of this type. Check any bolted joint again a few weeks in.
Can I use it outdoors?
It is an indoor stand. Outdoors it will corrode and the bike needs a cover anyway.
Is it suitable for a carbon bike?
It holds the wheel rather than clamping the frame, so it avoids the usual carbon concern. Check tyre fit.
Can I use it on carpet?
Yes, though a hard level surface is more stable. Avoid deep pile.
Will it fit through a doorway assembled?
The supplier does not publish dimensions. Ask us if that matters for your space.
Is it easy to load?
Lifting the front of the bike and rolling it back onto the cradle is the usual motion, which is easier than lifting a whole bike to a wall hook.
Can a child use it?
Loading is a lift, so it depends on the child and the bike. An adult will find it straightforward.
Does it fold?
Not stated by the supplier.
Will it mark the floor?
Check the feet before using it on a wooden floor. A felt pad under each foot is cheap insurance.
Do you sell a floor parking stand too?
Yes, in the same category, which holds the bike upright without standing it vertically.
What if it arrives and my tyres do not fit?
You have 14 days to change your mind. We would rather you asked first so it does not come to that.
What is it made of?
The supplier publishes no material for this product. We have asked; when we have an answer it goes on this page rather than a guess.
What tyre widths does it take?
No figure is published. Cradle width is the usual fit problem, so tell us your tyre size and we will check with the supplier before you order.
What is the maximum bike weight?
Not published. If you are buying for an e-bike at 22 to 30 kg, ask us first.
What are the dimensions?
The supplier does not publish them. Ask us if you need them and we will chase it.
How long does delivery take?
5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time. Express is available at checkout.
Is delivery free?
Yes on orders of EUR 60 or more. Below that it is a flat EUR 22.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 14 days to change your mind, and faulty goods rights apply separately.
Where do you deliver?
Across Europe. Prices are in euro and shown including tax.
The complete guide
Vertical or horizontal, and when to drill
6 min readBike Stand Company
The floor you actually use
A bike takes about two metres of floor lying flat, and the part that matters
is that most of it is floor you walk on. Standing the bike on its rear wheel
gives that back.
When a stand beats a wall rack
If you cannot drill, the decision is made for you. Rented flats, leasehold
buildings, block walls you would rather not touch: a floor stand is the answer in
all of them.
It also moves. When the room changes or you do, the stand comes with you and
there is nothing to fill in behind it.
Check tyre width before anything else
Cradles are sized. A stand made for a 25 mm road tyre will not take a 2.4 inch
mountain tyre, and forcing it is how cradles crack.
The supplier does not publish a range for this stand. Tell us your tyre size
and we will get it from them before you order.
Level ground matters
Any upright stand feels less stable on an uneven garage floor, and the floor
is usually the cause rather than the stand. Position it across a slope rather
than along it, and keep it clear of doorways where it will get knocked.
Tell us the bike, the space and the wall you are working with, and we will tell you what fits before you buy. Free delivery across Europe on orders over €60.
Vertical Bike Rack (site SKU bike-rack-M1)') sold by
Bike Stand Company at bikestand.eu.com, EUR 99. A freestanding vertical bicycle rack that stands a
bike on its rear wheel, reducing the floor footprint to roughly that of the wheel itself. Nothing
is fixed to the wall or floor, so it suits rented flats, leasehold buildings and any wall that
should not be drilled, and it can be repositioned or taken when the owner moves. It suits narrow
hallways where a horizontally parked bike, nearly two metres long, blocks the walkway.
IMPORTANT DATA GAPS, stated rather than guessed: the supplier publishes no material, no maximum
bike weight and no tyre width range. Those are the two fit questions that matter, because a cradle
sized for a road tyre will not accept a fat tyre and an e-bike at 22 to 30 kg is a very different
load from a 9 kg road bike, so a buyer with a heavy or wide-tyred bike should ask before ordering.
Compared with a wall rack: a wall rack returns more floor space but requires a drillable wall;
this returns a good deal of floor and requires no fixing at all. Stock item, so the 14 day EU
right of withdrawal applies in full. Delivery Europe wide, free over EUR 60, otherwise EUR 22.
